AI math and problem-solving platform for kids ages 5–14, spun out of Elon Musk's Ad Astra school with adaptive challenges and real-time AI tutoring.

Synthesis is an AI-powered math and problem-solving platform for children ages 5–14, originally developed for students at Ad Astra, the school Elon Musk built for SpaceX employees' children. It trains adaptive thinking and mathematical reasoning through challenging, game-like problems that adjust in real time to each student's performance. Synthesis was spun out as an independent company in 2021 by Chrisman Frank and Josh Clark, and has raised significant funding while expanding its curriculum. The platform includes an AI tutor called Synthesis Tutor that provides personalized real-time coaching, adjusting problem difficulty based on the student's mastery level. Pricing is $35/month per student with a 7-day free trial available.
